The main house, seven-stall barn including tack room, and pastures are yours to use during your visit.
- You will need to supply your own bed linens, towels, paper products. We have 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 single beds and 2 full baths. Washer and dryer are available, just bring your own laundry detergent.
- Please supply your own feed/water buckets for the stalls, and hay if desired.
- The main pasture (in front of the house and beside barn) and lower pasture (along driveway) have “hot wire”. Main pasture circuit breaker is in tack room in case of emergency.
- DO NOT park trailers between the driveway and house due to water lines and septic fields.
- Paddocks behind barn and workshop are not electrified.
- Horses have access to the creek in lower pasture.
- Instructions for satellite TV and DVD are written on remote control.
- The gas logs instructions are located on the fireplace hearth.
- Prior to check-out, please muck the barn and grounds using the muck buckets found under the barn overhang, and place them outside barn door. Leave bagged household garbage outside the backdoor.
- Flea-less, housebroken dogs are welcome inside at night.
- Please, no smoking in house or barn.

From Winston-Salem: Hwy52N, it will become Interstate 74, then Interstate 77, Continue past Mt Airy into Va on Interstate77N until Galax-Hillsville ( exit14), take that exit and turn left towards Galax, on Hwy58, go straight past the WalMart on your right and then right at the light, go to the "T" intersection and take a left( glendale rd), go straight, then take a right on Hwy721 ( cliffview rd), follow to the "T" at the top of the hill, take a right, go about two hundred yards and follow Hwy721 to the left, keep going across the river and into Fries VA, look for Hwy758 (hilltown rd) and take a right, go straight to top of hill, take a right on Hwy94 and follow til you see Hwy602 (brush creek rd), turn left and go 5.5 miles to gravel rd ( Arrowhead Dr), turn left and go 0.3 miles, you'll see a "Bunkhouse" sign, turn right and follow drive to the cabin.
From North:
From Interstate81, take Exit80 ( Ft Chiswell Rd) onto Hwy 52S, go about one mile to stoplight and take right onto Hwy94S ( Ivanhoe Rd), go Appro 9.5 miles and take a right onto State Rd 602 ( Brush Creek Rd) , go 5.5 miles and take a left onto Arrowhead Dr (gravel), go 0.3 miles to the Bunkhouse Sign, turn right and follow to the Cabin....
